About Me
Senna van Beem is a story artist from the Netherlands who isn’t afraid to broach heavy topics such as LGBTQ+ struggles, feminism and mental health. With great passion for stories told by own voices, she hopes to create work that can resonate with people and make them feel represented on screen. With plenty of experience with the aforementioned topics, there is enough story to tell. 2D character animation is her main forte, but she doesn’t shy away from digital illustration, or picking up a physical sketchbook. Her preferred work method is structured, with a clear planning and goals to work towards.
On top of her work in Animation and Visual Development she also visits conventions selling merchandising and prints under the brand name Sendraws, usually sharing the booth with a friend or two.
Senna is currently in pursuit of her Bachelor’s degree in Animated & Illustrated storytelling (St. Joost School of Art & Design) and has minored in Development for Visual Storytelling at the same academy.
